But then I've never eaten rabbit! It sounds great - will definitely file this away for the time that we head further down that road. Wish we lived close enough to trade some with you! xCut&Alterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05513430347949305435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604403499576985528.post-17071903985463659032010-07-06T12:07:18.485+12:002010-07-06T12:07:18.485+12:00P.S. We've become so detached from the fact that an animal is killed before we consume it. The packaging in cellophane at the store on a styrofoam tray doesn't make that apparent. Hats off to you!Cadihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14517775140048055244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604403499576985528.post-86194956251523675612010-07-06T12:03:57.950+12:002010-07-06T12:03:57.950+12:00I think rabbits I could no longer eat after having...I think rabbits I could no longer eat after having had Smokey as a pet, but I do remember that rabbit tastes quite nice.

Yes, that quilt is just amazing.

I'm coming a year from now. Is that okay? :-) (I'm seriously planning a trip for next summer, but I wouldn't quite be so bold and just invite myself over.)Cadihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14517775140048055244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604403499576985528.post-10143717628723277172010-07-06T02:24:07.036+12:002010-07-06T02:24:07.036+12:00Wild rabbits, maybe, but those cute little, soft an...Wild rabbits, maybe, but those cute little, soft and cuddly, tame bunnies. I find it impossible to look something in the eye, call it by name on a daily basis, love on it till it's grown, then kill and eat it.I WOULD become a vegetarian first. To each his own, but Sorry! So your recipe is rather timely. I have tasted rabbit before but only once, I need to get my head round it a wee bit. Were going to wait till he's got some more to make a decent meal.Laura @ Our Wee Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14240391312194055909noreply@blogger.com
