However, it is not as robust as cotton and I would hesitate to use it in a quilt that was to be regularly washed. I tend to make quilts that hang on the wall as art, so I don't have to worry about them holding up to regular washing. But they do have to be robust enough to travel to shows and when I am using them as teaching examples, and the silk organza manages this no problem.Charlotte Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11696100659597422648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604403499576985528.post-25138093324961738922021-01-13T14:34:25.727+13:002021-01-13T14:34:25.727+13:00Hi! Would love to know how it washes up and if it's something that I could use in a quilt that would be used regularly. Thanks so much! kokobaruhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06305481918740806080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604403499576985528.post-50269998082123042572020-11-12T03:22:00.884+13:002020-11-12T03:22:00.884+13:00Thanks Charlotte, I came across your blog when try...Thanks Charlotte, I came across your blog when trying to find out IF I could use Mistyfuse with silk. I am using knitted silk from long underwear that is no longer wearable. It was suggested as a layer in my mask making, which I thought was done. However, although your country is doing GREAT, ours is not. Hoping our new President will take this virus seriously. ann<br />designerann@yahoo.comannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10641784755031491045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7604403499576985528.post-86079726798989651652018-10-18T01:57:26.518+13:002018-10-18T01:57:26.518+13:00Very informative post.
