Spring weather makes them wild(er).

My kids have been watching a version of Peter Pan on a DVD.  So naturally they want to prance around half nekkid with bits of fabric (nicked from my stash) draped around them and tucked in strategically.  A bit breezy I would have thought.  The weather is good, but not THAT good.  Still, when you run around chasing an imaginary Captain Hook up and down the woodpile, I guess that keeps you warm.

Hope you had a productive weekend.  I did nothing quilt related, but I did weed, compost and then re-plant a whole garden bed.  I also killed and plucked the chook that kept flying into the garden to dig up the new seedlings and we're having her for dinner tomorrow night.

Sweet dreams!

  1. Haha, that will teach that chook!

What is it with kids and the slightest bit of warmish weather?? Mine wanted to get a bit more nekkid too, but seeing as it's the front yard, I made them keep their swim shorts on.

At one point, they were running round sans clothes (inside this time) with fabric draped over their backs and secured at wrists and ankles by rubber bands. They've been invited to a halloween party, so were working on a bat theme :)

  2. Sigh, wish we lived closer, our kids could (inevitably) fight together and go nuts together.

  3. I'm afraid mine are too grown up (in their minds :) for that any more. Something happened to eldest yesterday- he took a shower of his own volition!!!! Now I'm waiting for a girlfriend to turn up - he will be 15 in two weeks and I wonder just where that time went.

    Hope the chook tastes great
