This blog is a bit of a ramble through my life. There's a lot about quilting and textile arts, a sprinkle of my family life and some of my thoughts and ponderings. We currently live aboard an old wooden 1945 Navy boat, called MV Cerego, so you'll find me writing about that too. Welcome aboard!

I think I've got the commenting problem sorted out.  If anyone else is having trouble leaving comments on other people's blogs - try deleting all your cookies, they might be corrupted (Corrupted Cookies, now there's a recipe I'd like to try!).  There is more info if you go to Blogger Help.

  1. is a good information site to use, too. It helps me to solve or to better understand many of the problems I have been having.

  2. Hi,
I've been following your blog for sometime and greatly enjoy keeping up with all your family and quilting 'adventures', couldn't resist commenting on 'corrupted cookies' they sound de-lish and very wicked. As a slimming group member I guess ALL cookies have to be considered 'corrupted' Ah Well! such is life. loved the pic of your wicked monkey think she definitley will need some make up lessons. As a very new Granny I guess i have all this to come.
    Will keep popping by.
