Well, you guys voted and so I took on the challenge. The giant blue and white quilt is basted, my knees are busted and I've pretty much worked out how I'm going to tackle the quilting designs. And now I need a cup of tea.
My name is Charlotte, sometimes known as Ms Lottie, occasionally as The Slightly Mad Quilt Lady. This is my blog, where you'll find me writing a lot about my quilting and textile arts and a little about my family's life in a small seaside town in New Zealand. Haere mai!
That was a big job!! I love the blue and white fabric. Can't wait to see it finished. I think basting is the hardest part.
ReplyDeleteIt will be great to see the finished quilt, are you machine quilting or hand?
ReplyDeleteGood job! Maybe you could have used something a little stronger than tea!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl!!!
ReplyDeleteWao, the blue and white fabrics are looking so attractive. I like it very much. There are many companies such as Yourshed which are also providing this facilities. So, I really enjoyed it .Thanks for nice post.
